Maple Candied Bacon
- 1 lb Field Bacon
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Pecans, roughly chopped (optional)
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Place bacon on a wire rack on top of a foil-lined baking pan. Brush the top of the bacon with maple syrup and sprinkle on some brown sugar.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Flip the bacon and brush with maple syrup and sprinkle on some brown sugar. Bake for another 15 minutes or until the bacon reaches the desired level of crispiness.
- Top bacon with chopped pecans (optional).
